Is there a 24 hour Pharmacy near by?

This changes and we would always suggest reviewing the NHS Website for information on 24 hour availability. 
 
The nearest late night pharmacy is Medway Pharmacy in Canterbury Street and is open until 10pm, please do contact them directly first to verify their opening hours;

Local Schools
Kent County Council offer the schooling provisions for the local area, the link provided will take you to their website where you can search for local provisions, settings or facilities offered by the council, it also has some helpful links to the Department for Education (DofE) should you require additional help:

Library Services

Where is the nearest Library?

There are a number of local libraries:

Snodland, Larkfield and Maidstone.  You can check the opening hours and facilities by clicking on the link below.  They are free to use and register with and come with a variety of services that you may find useful if you are new to the community:

You can also register for the E-Library if travelling is difficult, it covers many of the standard services the library would offer you, for example, checking out reference material, audio books, reading books for adults and children, you can also access some of the administrative services offered.

There are a number of support groups in the vicinity of Snodland and Maidstone.

Involve Kent
A charity working in Maidstone and beyond, offering a range of services to enhance the quality of life for local people. You can find them at the Maidstone Community Support Centre, 39-48 Marsham St, Maidstone ME14 1HH. They operate from Monday to Friday, with varying hours1.

Snodland Family Hub
(previously known as Snodland Youth and Children’s Centre)
Part of the Kent Family Hubs, they offer support to children, young people, and families. Located at Holmesdale School Site, Malling Road, Snodland, Kent, ME6 5JG, they provide a single place for information and services throughout your family journey. Their hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm2.

 
Men’s Mental Health Support Group
Run by Tom and Jamie, this weekly session takes place at Snodland Town Council, Waghorn Road, ME6 5BQ on Mondays from 7 pm to 9 pm. It’s a safe space for men to connect and seek support. For confidential emotional support, you can also call Samaritans at 116 1233.


Live Well Kent
A network of voluntary organizations and charities that provide free support for anyone aged 17+ living in Kent or Medway4.

 
Mind
There are more than 100 local Minds across England and Wales, each offering unique services. You can use the Mind website to find your nearest local Mind and explore what they offer in your area5.
